Law firms, gestorías and accountancy practices

Law firm website design in Spain for lawyers and accountants

People looking for a lawyer arrive with a specific problem and little patience: they want to know whether you handle their matter, who will take it on and how to book a first consultation. We design every law firm website to answer those three questions on the first screen, for firms anywhere in Spain and with the whole process handled remotely. We build it bespoke in React and Next.js, with a panel where your team changes texts, practice areas and profiles without calling anyone.

What does a law firm website need?

A law firm website is not read like a brochure. Visitors look for their case, compare and decide within minutes whether to get in touch. So we organise it around what they are looking for, not around your org chart.

  1. One page per practice area

Family, employment, criminal, immigration, inheritance, banking: each specialism gets its own page, with the matters you handle, how you work and which documents to bring to the first meeting. Google understands what you do and clients find their matter without digging. If you handle property law or manage buildings, you share clients with estate agents, and it helps to see how we organise websites for estate agents.

  2. One profile per lawyer

Name, bar association and membership number, accredited specialism and background. Clients trust a person before they trust a logo, and the profile tells them who they will be speaking to.

  3. What a law firm website should show, and what it should leave out

Some details clients expect to find, and we plan for them from the first sketch: the bar association each lawyer belongs to, their membership number and only the specialisms the firm can accredit. Client reviews go up only with the client’s written permission, and the firm uploads them from the panel once it has that permission.

What we leave out: percentages of cases won, promises of outcomes, superlatives such as “the best firm in town” and case stories with details that could identify a client. Nor do we state that the website complies with any specific rule. The structure leaves room for what is worth showing, and you decide and review the final text, because you know your bar association’s rules better than anyone. If something needs correcting, you change it from the panel on the spot.

  4. A first consultation without friction

A short form, one-tap WhatsApp and a phone number visible on mobile. If you work by appointment, the Professional package adds a diary so clients can book the consultation on the website itself.

  5. Discretion in the contact form

The form asks only for what you need to call back and makes clear there is no need to describe the case in writing. The website runs on HTTPS and is hosted on servers in the European Union.

What if you run a gestoría or an accountancy practice?

A gestoría, the Spanish administrative and tax agency that handles paperwork for businesses and families, sells peace of mind and deadlines met. Its clients are a self-employed worker unsure whether the quarterly return is due, a small company hiring its first employee or a family with an inheritance half processed. The website has to separate those profiles from the menu onwards.

  1. Services by type of client

Self-employed, companies and individuals each see their own services (registrations, bookkeeping, payroll, income tax returns, quarterly VAT) without having to decode tax jargon.

  2. Tax, employment or bookkeeping practice

An accountancy practice website changes with what the practice covers. A tax practice talks about quarterly returns, income tax and companies; an employment practice, about contracts, payroll and dismissals; a bookkeeping practice, about year-end closing and accounts. Each line of work gets its own page and form, so clients know who they are writing to.

  3. A blog for the dates that matter

With the blog in the Professional package you publish reminders for the income tax campaign or the quarterly deadlines. People search for these every year, and they bring you enquiries right in your busiest weeks.

  4. A second channel beyond referrals

Many accountancy practices live on word of mouth. The website opens another door: the person searching for an accountant for the self-employed near home who finds you through your Google profile and a clear services page.

What can your firm change from the panel?

Everything that changes often: the texts of each practice area, team profiles, photos, frequently asked questions, the SEO of every page and the legal texts. If a new lawyer joins or you open a specialism, you publish it yourself that same afternoon.

With the Professional package the panel adds an appointment diary, client records with their contact history and a blog. The Complete package adds quotes, invoices with Verifactu, payments, expenses and reports, so you run the firm from the same place where you edit the website.

For a gestoría or an accountancy practice this matters even more: your clients ask you about Verifactu, and with the Complete package your own invoicing already runs on Verifactu from the panel.

Example

What would a small firm’s website look like?

A sample case, with no real client behind it: a small firm with a handful of lawyers covering family, employment and immigration law, which gets almost all its work through referrals.

  1. What it has now

A single page with the logo, a list of specialisms and an email address. Nobody knows who handles what or how to book an appointment.

  2. What we propose

One page for each area, one profile per lawyer, a first consultation form on every page and a diary to book it. On the blog, short guides on the questions clients keep asking at the first meeting: custody, dismissal, residency through settlement.

  3. What changes day to day

Enquiries arrive with the area already chosen and reach the person who handles it. The firm stops answering the same questions over the phone again and again.

Why do we start by studying your firm?

Before any design, the Business Study sorts out which matters you want to attract, which you can do without, what your ideal client looks like and what holds them back from calling. From there come the areas that go first, the words people use to find you and the order of every page.

For law firms it is often an eye-opener: many lawyers’ websites give every specialism equal weight when the work that pays the bills comes from just a few.

Which package suits a law firm or a gestoría?

For most firms and accountancy practices we recommend the Professional package: a bespoke website, local SEO, appointment diary, client records and blog. If you only want a clear shop window, the Essential is enough; if you want to invoice from the panel, the Complete.

What do law firms ask us before starting?

The questions lawyers, gestores and accountants raise on the first call.

How much does a website for a law firm cost?

It depends on the package. All three have a fixed price, paid once + VAT, and they are published on the pricing page. For a law firm we recommend the Professional. Hosting and maintenance are separate, as a monthly fee.

Which pages should a lawyer’s website have at the very least?

Home, one page per practice area, team profiles, a contact page with first consultation booking and the legal texts. The Business Study decides which areas go first and which are left out.

Can I change the texts on my website without relying on you?

Yes. From the panel you change texts, photos, profiles, FAQs, SEO and legal texts on every page. If you open a new area or someone joins the team, you publish it yourself.

Does it also work for a gestoría or a tax adviser?

Yes. We organise services by type of client (self-employed, companies and individuals) and add a blog for the tax dates. The blog is included in the Professional package.

Who checks that the texts fit my bar association’s advertising rules?

You do. You decide and review the content; we build it and give you the panel to correct it straight away. If a sentence needs changing, you do it from the panel without waiting for anyone.

Where is the data clients leave in the contact form stored?

On servers in the European Union, with HTTPS and automatic backups. The form asks only for what is needed to call back.

Do you use WordPress or ready-made themes?

No. Every website is built bespoke in React and Next.js, with its own admin panel. Your website does not share a design with another firm’s.

Do you work with firms anywhere in Spain?

Yes. We work remotely with law firms, gestorías and accountancy practices in any province: meetings, reviews and handover with no travel. Once it is live, you change whatever you like from the panel, wherever you are.

Do you write the texts for each practice area?

We draft them from the Business Study, which sets the texts and the order of every page. You review them before anything goes live. Nobody knows your matters like you do: the firm has the final say on every sentence.

What SEO does a law firm website include?

The local SEO in every package: Google Business Profile, structured data, sitemap and a page per practice area. We do not promise rankings. Nobody controls Google’s order; what we do take care of is that Google understands which areas you cover.

Can I publish client reviews?

Yes, with the client’s written permission. You publish them yourself from the panel, with the testimonials module in the Professional package. Without permission none goes up, named or anonymous.

Shall we talk about your firm?

Tell us which areas you cover and which clients you want to reach, and we will call you to prepare your study.
